Everfive Privacy Policy

Everfive collects:

• A randomly generated user ID stored locally on your device
• Your taste preferences (hotel/restaurant styles, dealbreakers, favorites) that you explicitly provide during onboarding
• Reviews and photos you choose to submit
• A profile photo, if you choose to upload one
• Your search history (city + result count), stored on our servers and cached locally on your device
• Swipe answers in the Taste Match game
• Your email address, if you sign up or sign in with email, Apple, or Google
• Your location, but only when you actively use a feature that needs it (like finding places near you on the map) — this happens only while you're using the app; Everfive never tracks your location in the background or when the app is closed

Everfive does NOT:

• Track your location in the background or without your permission
• Sell or share your personally identifiable information (name, email, phone number) with third parties

Everfive uses trusted third-party services to operate:

• AI providers — specifically OpenAI and Anthropic — analyze your onboarding answers, taste preferences, saved places, and the reviews you submit, in order to build your taste profile and generate personalized recommendations. This data is sent to these providers for that processing. The app discloses this and asks for your agreement before your first onboarding answer is sent for AI processing.
• Resend delivers account emails (like password resets)
• With your permission, Everfive may send local reminder notifications (e.g. to play Taste Match)

Any third party we share your data with is contractually bound to protect it to a standard consistent with this policy, and may not use it for any purpose beyond providing their service to Everfive.

Everfive may, now or in the future:

• Show sponsored or promoted placements from hotel, restaurant, and travel business partners within search results and recommendations — always clearly labeled as sponsored, never disguised as an organic recommendation
• Earn a referral commission when you book through a link shown in the app
• Share aggregated, de-identified insights about traveler categories and behavior (for example, spending patterns or preferences common to a travel style) with business partners — this never includes your name, contact information, or anything that identifies you individually

Your taste profile and reviews are stored on our servers to power your personalized recommendations. You can reset your profile at any time from the You tab → Redo onboarding.
